Our congregation is a growing faith community with more than 400 confirmed members in a parish covering the areas of Cromwell, Rocky Hill, Middletown, Berlin and other surrounding towns in central Connecticut.

We are a congregation of the New England Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) – the largest Lutheran church in the US with over 5 million members. Our members are from every walk of life and background –
some having been with us since their birth, but most having made Bethany their worship and spiritual home within the
last few years.

Our accessible facility plays a key role in our community not only in worship, but also in providing a home for our Preschool  and an active meeting place for local organizations.

People join Bethany in one of three ways – through baptism (regardless of age), transfer from another Lutheran congregation, or as new adult members who have not recently been active in another congregation. Our Pastor would be happy to discuss membership with you. We would love to have you join our community of faith.
